Hey guys,

I was notified that since around 4:00AM EDT (GMT-4), we've had downtime. Anyways, we're back up. The reason being was that our host didn't pay his bills on time and we had a server-wide suspension because of it (this included Dashing). Anyways, I paid his bill, and we're now officially back up. He now owes me an undisclosed amount between $20-35, but don't worry about that.

It's also come to my attention that people are making posts and then link a sig to some spammy site. Please note that at the Unofficial Rock Band Forums (and many other forums on the web), having a signature is a privilege, and not a right. We have also added an announcement regarding signature links.

Anyways, on to some good news now. We would like to congratulate Alan (AJS) on his promotion to the MyBB Support Team. He has been a good friend of mine and I wish him nothing but the best on his new journey. Anyways, we're all patting him on the back over at the MyBB forums. The thread's over here.

Hey guys,

We've just made a few minor things on the forums. The first one is that we're still working on the SEO of the forums and will be a constant working project. I will also be posting how I did everything through a tutorial for all those MyBB owners who may be interested.

Anyways, to some more interesting things now. It is my pleasure to announce "The Common," an intercommunity of several forums banding together to bring you video game events, tournaments, and more! The Unofficial Rock Band Forums is a proud charter member of The Common, along with Dashing, Brawl Domain, and Nintendo Addict. Anyways, we've announced our very first event, a simple, private Mario Kart Game. We hope you guys can join in. The thread on our forums is below.

Hey guys,

I'm fixing stuff here and there. Facebook Like has officially been replaced by a manual hardcode version of the like box which asthetically is better. We've also replaced the AddThis submission with another Social Bookmarking plugin, which is now located at the bottom. All this helps us realize our goal to integrate Social Networking into the Unofficial Rock Band Forums, as we believe that we should integrate with things that you, the users use and love.

We will also be tweaking the forum layout around. This is primarily to improve our forums and make it more search engine friendly. We do not want to change things for functionality, but to be noticed in the search engines would always be nice . Anyways, that's all for now. I'm unfortunately moving on Wednesday, and my internet access for the next six days after that may be limited, so I wish nothing but the best for the rest of you guys.
